The original owner of zow.com has regained control of the domain name.

Marci Seely registered the domain name in 1996. In September, she filed a lawsuit alleging that the domain name was stolen last year. The domain moved from Network Solutions to Alibaba.

The judge didn’t need to make a decision on her in rem lawsuit. In a notice of voluntary dismissal, her lawyer wrote, “Plaintiff has settled with interested parties to this action and
secured return of the Disputed Domain and therefore dismisses this case.”

It’s not clear how they were able to get the domain back, but it moved from Alibaba to GoDaddy in the middle of October. Seely confirmed to Domain Name Wire that she is now in control of the domain at GoDaddy.
