What domain names end users bought this past week

A Ferrari dealer, a graphic design service, and a river cruise company bought domain names.

Sedo’s top public sale this week was bitcoinetf.org for $49,999. It doesn’t resolve yet, so I’ll be interested to see who develops it.

Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that just completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.

RossoCorsa.com $7,000 – Rosso Corsa is a Spanish seller of Ferraris. It uses the domain rossocorsa.es. Using .com will help it expand its market outside of Spain.

Recetas.net $5,000 – Recetas is Spanish for recipes. The buyer is using it for a food site. It was previously used for this purpose, so some of the value might come from that.

CareerPass.com €4,000 – Career Pass is a “learner passport that contains information about an individual’s learning experiences, achievements, skills and competencies.” It is designed for students in Australia.

YasPay.com $3,999 – The buyer has uploaded a logo with the slogan “Empowering Today. Securing Tomorrow.”

DesignSauce.com $3,800 – Design Sauce is a productized service for design work.

HeartfotheRiver.com $3,500 – AMA Waterways, a rivercruise company, bought this domain and forwards it to its website.

Qualtrics.ai €3,333 – Whois lists IP protection firm NTI Santoni, Inc. I suspect this domain was acquired for survey company Qualtrics.

AriceumTX.com $3,000 – Ariceum Therapeutics invents targeted radiopharmaceuticals to visualize and treat cancer. This domain forwards to ariceum-therapeutics.com.

ID-e.com $3,000 – ID-e gives companies that sell physical products the capability to offer digital products based on their real-world items.

TrinkHalm.de €2,500 – This domain forwards to the website of Halm Group, which sells glass straws. Trink is German for drink.

TheGroup.org $2,000 – Group for the East End works to protect and restore the environment of eastern Long Island. This purchase appears to be a way to shorten the domain people need to remember…it forwards to groupfortheeastend.org.
