Squadhelp picks up $10 million investment
Hilco Digital makes a strategic investment in Squadhelp.
Naming and domain name sales platform Squadhelp has raised $10 million in funding from Hilco Digital, a digital asset broker.
Commenting on Twitter, Squadhelp founder and CEO Darpan Munjal said the money will be used to grow Squadhelp’s team, build technology faster, and for marketing.
The companies will also partner to build a marketplace for super-premium domain names.
Andrew Miller, a longtime fixture in the domain business and a member of Hilco Digital, will join Squadhelp’s board.
This is Squadhelp’s first outside funding round.
Squadhelp has been hands-down the fastest innovating domain marketplace. It will be exciting to see how it puts this money to work.
