Some notable sales from NameJet and SnapNames last month
Here’s what sold on Newfold Digital’s aftermarkets last month.
Newfold Digital’s domain aftermarket platforms combined to sell 103 names for $2,000 or more last month. The sales totaled $546,000, and that doesn’t include the domains that sold for less than $2,000.
The top sale was mivi.com at $25,000.
Here are some other domains that are worth writing about:
PureLife.com $20,400 – Many companies use this name. And then there’s the popular saying pura vida, which is the translation in Spanish.
ClimateChange2013.org – A lot of expired domains sell because of their prior use and backlinks. This is a prime example of a domain that is worth little on its own.
GreenLaw.com $10,249 – A solid name for an environmental lawyer.
FrozenFoods.com – Descriptive domains like this aren’t as popular as they used to be, but I think this is a spectacular domain for an entire industry. It could also be used as a marketing site for a cold chain company.
TheLeft.com $5,555 – A wonderful political domain.
SelfDirectedIRA.com $5,255 – Self-directed IRAs let you invest in alternative assets. It’s a big business.
Click2Pay.com $5,250 – Would you believe there’s a payments system that uses the misspelling Clik2pay.com? Talk about a security issue.
IntelligentEdge.com $2,709 – I wish I had seen this one. Edge computing is huge and this is a great domain for the business.
